The Springboks will return to the USA for only the third time this millennium when the 2026 edition of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry – the touring series between the Boks and the All Blacks held every four years – concludes with the historic fourth and final Test in Baltimore, Maryland.

South Africa’s four franchises will look to build on their form in the two European competitions last week when they return to Vodacom United Rugby Championship action this weekend, where the race for playoff spots will begin to intensify significantly as the pool stages pass the halfway mark.

SA Rugby announced on Thursday that Biogen has joined its family of partners after signing a three-year sponsorship agreement which sees the premium wellness brand landing the vitamins and sports nutrition partnership to the Springboks, Springbok Women, as well as the national sevens and U20 teams.

The Springbok Women will host their counterparts from the USA in a historic two-Test series in July in Johannesburg and Pretoria, where they will open the days’ action when the Springboks kick off their Nations Championship campaign.

Springbok and DHL Stormers flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been revealed as one of the 10 nominees for the 2026 Investec Player of the Year award, which recognises the players who delivered outstanding performances during the pool stage of the Investec Champions Cup.
