The two Bok forwards’ inclusion are the only changes to the team for this match at Hollywoodbets Kings Park, which kicks off at 17h05 and will be broadcast live on SuperSport. The Cell C Sharks beat the Emirates Lions in a high-scoring clash in Johannesburg last weekend.
The Springbok captain and hooker – who boast 111 combined Test caps between them – return to play against their former side, with Kolisi replacing James Venter on the side of the scrum and Mbonambi starting at hooker, in the place of Kerron van Vuuren.
“The positives from last week were the opportunities we created and I was happy with the quick attack and the way we were able to move the ball and the continuity we got from that; the offloads in the build-up to some of the tries was also really pleasing,” said Sean Everitt, Cell C Sharks head coach.
“We also managed the game well at times and that was why we probably came out on top.”
