The three-day event kicks off on Friday 9 December with 28 of the best Sevens teams in the world descending on the Mother City to help mark the unofficial start of the South African holiday season.
General access tickets went on sale last month at Ticketmaster and now suite sales and hospitality tickets have been released.
SA Rugby warned fans to beware of online websites offering packages to the tournament. Historically, unscrupulous companies have offered hospitality at twice the prices charged by SA Rugby.
The only official outlets for hospitality packages are via hospitality@sarugby.co.za or from the following official agencies: SA Rugby Travel (www.sarugbytravel.com) Circa Events & Hospitality (www.circa.co.za) and CSports International (www.csportsinternational.com).
The hospitality offering includes fully staffed private suites with open bars offering meals and snacks throughout the day in 20-seat facilities; shared suites for supporters offering the same service at a lower price; or hospitality in the Business Louge, offering the same service in a 2 000-capacity venue in the main west stand.
The prices are:
Private Suite (West and East Stands)
- R10 700.00 per person excluding VAT (Saturday and Sunday combined)
- R12 900 per person excluding VAT (Friday, Saturday and Sunday combined)
Suites vary in size from 14 to 21 seaters
Shared Suites / Supporters’ Package (South and North Side)
- R4 200.00 per person per day excluding VAT (on Saturday and Sunday)
- R1 995.00 per person excluding VAT (Friday only)
