Kick-off at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, where the Boks played once before in 2001, is at 15h00 (SA time), and the match will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
The two changes to the starting team are both in the front row, where Pietro Ceccarelli (prop) and Giacomo Nicotera (hooker) will start in place of Simone Ferrari and Gianmarco Lucchesi respectively.
The experienced Tommaso Allan will start at fyhalf again, after he was a late replacement last week for Paolo Garbisi. The only change on the bench sees Manuel Zuliani replace Toa Halafihi.
“We achieved a historic result against Australia, but we are not satisfied,” said Crowley, a former All Black fullback.
“The following day the focus was immediately shifted to South Africa. It will be a very intense match from a physical point of view. We continue on this path proving to be competitive in every game.”
