It was a case of mixed fortunes for the four South African teams as the Vodacom United Rugby Championship returned to action this past weekend, with the Vodacom Bulls continuing to stamp their authority, while the Hollywoodbets Sharks also earned a valuable away win to stay close to the top teams on the table.

Women's Premier Division

Defending Women’s Premier Division champions, the Bulls Daisies, opened the 2025 competition with a runaway victory on Saturday, while Sanlam Boland Dames, DHL Western Province and Border Ladies all secured first round wins at home.

Vodacom United Rugby Championship

The South African teams will give everything on Saturday when they return to Vodacom United Rugby Championship duty for the first time this year, with a mouthwatering Jukskei derby kicking off the action in 2025.

Women's Premier Division

Women’s rugby will explode into action this weekend with the first round of the 2025 Women’s Premier Division kick-starting a massive year for the sport, culminating in the Rugby World Cup in England in August and September.

European Professional Club Rugby
